The British pop breakout—on Island in the U.S. and Capitol in the U.K.—is one of the hottest acts on either side of the pond, having scored multiple streaming hits, with “Man I Need” now Top 5 at Spotify and “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” close behind, and a superb chart showing for her album The Art of Loving. Her Best New Artist Grammy nomination wasn’t exactly a shock, nor was her star turn this weekend on SNL. One thing’s for sure: She sure didn’t “Need” to appear on this needless rag.
