Big Machine Label Group boss Scott Borchetta is revving up for the revels surrounding his company’s 20th anniversary. What began as a Nashville upstart (which fared pretty well with kid named Taylor) became a champion. Borchetta’s fleet includes Thomas Rhett, Riley Green, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jackson Dean, Brett Young and Justin Moore, not to mention Sheryl Crow, Mötley Crüe and the legendary Dolly Parton. In 2019, Ithaca bought BMLG for a reported $300m, but Borchetta remains in the driver’s seat. If only he could put us in the rearview.
